Henry Maske (born January 6, 1964 in Treuenbrietzen) is a former German boxer, who was one of the most popular German sports figures, not only because of his success but also because of his exemplary mannerism and outstanding fair play.
During his career, Maske was a five-time boxing champion of East Germany and won the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics.
After Reunification in 1990, he turned professional, and became world champion (IBF) in the middle weight category, defending his title eleven times between 1993 and 1996 before retirement.
