Henry Wynkoop, a grandson of Gerardus and son of Nicholas, born Mch 2, 1737, and married Ann Kuipers of Bergen County, N.J. became the most prominent member of the family in the last Century.
It was at the Wynkoop mansion in Northampton Twp.
Henry Wynkoop residence was the farm in Northampton late Joseph Camm.

 Northampton Township Historical Commission
The son of Nicholas Wynkoop, Henry Wynkoop was born on March 2, 1737, probably in a small white stone house which stood at the corner of Newtown and Holland Roads until it was demolished about 15 years ago.
Wynkoop was appointed a justice of peace in 1764, and the following year he was named an associate county judge, serving four terms through 1773.
Later in the same year Wynkoop was appointed to the Bucks County "Committee-of-Observation" whose members were "to observe the conduct of all persons," and ascertain whether they were in favor of liberty.

WYNKOOP, Henry, member of the Continental congress, born in Northampton county, Pennsylvania, 2 March, 1737; died in Bucks county, Pennsylvania, 24 October, 1812.
Henry received a classical education and early espoused the patriot cause.
He was a member of the Northampton county committee of observation in 1774, a deputy to the provincial conference of 15 July of that year, and of the provincial conference that met in Carpenter's Hall, Philadelphia, on 18 June, 1775.

I've had heated arguments with Henry about which Pokemon to use when playing Pokemon Stadium which have scared the bejeezus outta Mike (for example: rock Pokemon are weak against water Pokemon, etc.).
I have eaten with the Monteiro clan many times and I can attest to the fact that Henry is a connoisseur of French fries and considers them a meal alone, much to his parents' frustration.
Henry had to enter the Witness Protection Agency a few months ago after an unfortunate playground dispute over some Star Wars figures.

Topics of concern to nineteenth century farmers include the Hessian fly, crop rotation, fertilizer, and the benefits of planting clover.
Letters of particular interest include one in which Henry Wynkoop recommends fertilizing with "Plaistre of Paris" (Wynkoop, 1787.) In 1787 Elias Boudinot wrote to communicate "some Experiments I have made on the Culture of the very useful Grain, Indian Corn." George Logan wrote to recommend that hard spirits be banned from the farm.
R. Henry Morris III was Secretary from 1958 to 1961, and Mark Allam briefly served from 1961 to 1962.
