Topic: Henry deForest

  Henry Josiah DeForest
There is some confusion about H. DeForest's early life: his birthdate is given as either 1855 or 1860 and his birthplace is either St. John, New Brunswick or Rothesay, a town ten miles upriver from St. John.
The evolution of his name from DeForest to De Forest to de Forest may be ascribed either to his own hand or the whim of printers and typographers.
His sense of humour is apparent in his painting of Mount Hermon's lodgehall, currently hanging in the Library at Grand Lodge, where he included a goat to the right of the lodge hall.

This is a timeless and universal tale of the power of true friendship.Anthony Quinn was not just proctecting his livelihood when he became sniper to take out the stagecoach passenger and made it look like a robbery soon after they moved to Warlock.
He knew that would have presented problems for Henry Fonda.(I have not seen the movie in more than 15 years to remember the details but that still impresses me)He was willing to take care of that without bothering "Clay".
Clay fell in love and was ready to give up the 'life'and settle down in Warlock. This jolted Quinn's psyche because he truely loved Clay who was the only one that showed him respect and accepted him as a person rather than as a "cripple".
