  Hermann Tilke - Uncyclopedia
Hermann Tilke, born 1955 in Germany, is renowned as the world's leading butcher of traditional Formula One motor racing circuits.
Tilke founded Tilke Engineering in 1984, combining skills in architecture, engineering and the undeviating obedience of a lapdog to provide complete solutions for motor racing and waste disposal projects.
Tilke is most famous for his work re-designing classic tracks, such as the A1-Ring in Austria and the Hockenheimring in Germany, creating blander and more generic F1 circuits than ever before.

Tilke is of one of the people who exerts the greatest influence over the modern shape of Formula One racing.
Not that his influence on the sport ends there, Tilke being involved in the redesign of the A1-Ring in Austria and the new circuit at Hockenheim in Germany.
Another common Tilke theme in China is the proximity of fans to the action, with grandstands capable of accommodating 50,000 people positioned as close to the track as possible, and the track itself passing under a gigantic 'wing' structure 140 metres across on the main straight.
