	Helsinki Metro - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The go-ahead for the construction of the first stage of the metro system was given on 7 May 1969, and it was expected to finish before 1977.
		However, several problems came up in the testing stages, including corruption and faults in the rolling stock, and the system was not opened until 1982, five years behind schedule.
		For example, since the construction of the metro, nearly all bus routes from Laajasalo have terminated at the Herttoniemi metro station.

	Mediamond - Jussi's First Real Ski Jumping Experience
		On 5th of May 2005 Jussi Koskela, the developer of Deluxe Ski Jump games, made a visit to Herttoniemi ski jumping center in Helsinki to perform his first ever jump on a real ski jumping hill.
		Jussi's aim was to make a successfull jump on the Herttoniemi K15 Hill in the footsteps of the two time olympic champion Toni Nieminen who holds the hill record of 17.0 meters for that hill.

		The 79 bus is the only one that makes the loop past the Cubile and it does not go to downtown Helsinki.
		It does connect with the Metro (Siilitie or Herttoniemi stations) that will take you to the center quickly (9 minutes from Herttoniemi to the Kaisaniemi station or 11 minutes from Siilitie).
		79V bus also leaves from the Herttoniemi Metro station but does not go by the Cubile (it will get you within walking distance though).
