 (AEL) Egyptian Gods & Religions
In reliefs and statuary Heryshaf is represented as having an anthropomorphic body in a pharaonic stance and wearing the royal kilt, while his head is that of a long-horned ram.
So Heryshaf is envisaged as emerging from the primal matter at the beginning of time.
Regrettably, inscriptional evidence about Heryshaf is scant, so it is not possible to accept without reservations the attractive theory that 'he who is upon his lake' is the lotus plant arising out of the waters to open up and reveal the young sun-god.

In Egyptian mythology, Heryshaf ("He who is on his lake"), transcribed in Greek as "Harsaphes" was an ancient ram-god whose cult was centered in Herakleopolis Magna (now Ihnasiyyah al-Madinah).
The identification with Heracles may be related to the fact that in later times his name was sometimes reanalyzed as "He who is over strength." One of his titles was “Ruler of the Riverbanks.” Heryshaf was a creator and fertility god who was born from the primeval waters.

This could be a possible fit to the Equivilant, but one problem is that the meaning of his name is different to that of Heracles it says there the Greeks knew him as Harsaphes and not Heracles.
However thank you very much, I would still like to see if there is an Egyptian name that means "Glory to Isis" or something similar.
Heryshef was thought to be a "creator-god", who appeared from the sacred lakes` primeval waters.
