Hesburger is so popular that they have a frequent-eater program called bonusklubi with airlinelike eater levels of silver, gold, and platinum.
Hesburger has also incorporated traditional Finnish food into its menu by offering something called a ruisfilehampurilainen, which is served on traditional dark rye bread and topped with onion rings but doesn't qualify for this review due to the glaring fact that it's a fish sandwich.
Hesburger clearly succeeds in meeting the expectations of Finland's fast-food burger eaters, and the quality of service is excellent, but there's not much reason in Finland to strive for anything more than simply "better than McDonald's" when you're the only other burger game in town.

TALLINN - The Finnish hamburger chain Hesburger, which operates 17 restaurants in Estonia and Latvia, has cited the region’s current labor shortage as the major crimp on its ambitious expansion plans in the Baltics.
Hesburger’s marketing director for the Baltic states announced its Latvian expansion plans on Sept. 18.
Hesburger also has plans to open restaurants in Ventspils, Jelgava, and Cesis.

Yeah, I still got the same uncomfortable look on the train when I asked a question of someone, but they seemed ready to help a non-Finnish speaker.
By the way, the Finnish women are more beautiful than Swedish women, and Hesburger is way better than McDonald's (the friend I was visiting just had to take me to Hesburger for dinner, so I could compare it with the "crap" he had at McDonald's in the States).
