Hetty Waintrhopp Investigates is an enormously appealing series with a social conscience, that shatters preconceptions and misconceptions about the elderly, while expanding the mind of its heroine as she continually faces situations and problems the like of which she has never seen before.
Hetty Wainthropp is a must for fans of the British mystery, as well as for Routledge's legion of American fans, who may be surprised by this very different performance.
The Mayor of Titterslow hires Hetty to find his mentally challenged daughter, who has disappeared along with an equally challenged young man. The investigation is hampered by the fact that the mayor and his wife desperately want to keep their daughter's condition a secret.
