Hexen II features the hand-to-hand combat seen in the original Hexen, meaning that you'll be swinging swords and daggers at your opponents.
Hexen II is no different, and it's great fun to have a party of people running about each using their abilities (fighters in front, mages and assassins in the rear plugging away with spells and crossbows...) Unfortunately, in a cooperative game, the puzzles simply get in the way too much.
Any good Hexen II player will always have the most handy items at his or her disposal, ready to be tossed out in the heat of combat.

Since RavenGames dropped the Hexen II development ages ago, and the source code was released in late 2000 for everyone to play with, I have recently decided to pick up development.
There are separate downloads for Hexen II and Portal of Praevus games (both utilize the same executables and progs but different data files), and another download for the source code.
Since Hexen II has slightly different BSP file structure, I had to make some modifications to BSP2MAP source code (originally written by Disastry for Quake) and recompile it to make it work with Hexen II maps.

Be sure you upgraded your copy of Hexen II to v1.11 or have the updated demo (v1.11) before asking me a question.
Most of which is caused by Transparent water in regular Hexen II usually it will run at an acceptable frame rate then all the sudden your in water then it slows down.
When installing Hexen II you do not get the option of MIN or MAX install of Hexen II, and when you play Hexen II you are required to have the CD in your drive to play, regardless whether CD music is OFF of not.
