Tapi apa yang berlaku pada mereka hingga saat ini pun tidak berubah seperti yang menjadi sikap mereka dalam jurnal Ma’rifah itu.

Dalam pidato pertamanya sebagai Ketua MPR, Hidayat Nur Wahid menyebutkan lembaga MPR telah berubah kedudukan dan kekuasaannya sebagai akibat dari perubahan Undang-UndangDasar 1945 yang telah dilakukan oleh MPR pada periode yang lalu.
Hidayat Nur Wahid mengatakan tugas utamanya adalah bagaimana memainkan peran MPR dalam konteks yang baru, sesuai dengan perubahan undang-undang dasar karena jelas sekali MPR harus pula mengatur pola hubungan lembaganya dengan DPR dan juga dengan DPD.

Whilst Nur Wahid and the PKS have campaigned on a strong anti-corruption ticket, some have expressed concerns that he may have his own Islamic agenda to pursue as well though he has denied this.
Nur Wahid has perhaps made the first step in a long journey that may well culminate in this.
