Wanderlei Yoshida and Hidehiko Yoshida [Archive] - Puroresu Forum
Yoshida only got into position to apply front chokes twice in the 1st round, once after a restart (which makes it easier tha in continuous action) and the other time after an excellent judo hipthrow.
That's one of the things I think that still point out that Yoshida, despite a very good performance, is too unidimensional to be a big threat: he goes for the same upper body subs over and over again, had he transitioned to something else he might have been able to catch the brazilian out.
In my eyes, having ascertained he could hang with Yoshida on the ground in the first round, Wanderlei could be much less conservative in the second (even if he never went for the kill or took unnecessary risks) and simply rack up the points.

Instead he will find himself in tough against Yoshida with the knowledge that he was brought along with Yoshida’s career in mind, not his.
Anything can happen in a fight especially when someone hits as hard as Hunt, but Yoshida should be able to use his Judo to take the fight to the mat and eventually work in a gi choke to finish him early and convincingly in the first round.

In order to be competive and win Yoshida would have to train with some great newaza and striking specialists; although the striking wouldn't be as important due to the special rules, even with good training the best I could see is that it goes to both rounds.
