Hierarchs (Halo) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
High Prophet of Regret led the initial attack on Earth without consensus from the Prophets of Truth and Mercy.
The High Prophet of Truth also gives a subtle hint to make an example of the Elite commander responsible for the botched operation which was going to be detailed during Halo 2.
When the Flood infiltrate High Charity and infect the Prophet of Mercy, the Prophet of Truth deliberately abandons his fellow Prophet and escapes in a Forerunner ship at the center of High Charity.

High Charity - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There, they would capture the High Prophets, and force an end to the war with a peace treaty or truce.
During the events of Halo 2, however, Master Chief (who was alone teleported to High Charity by Gravemind) abandons this goal and decides to kill the High Prophets, despite Dr. Halsey's profile on Covenant society which revealed that killing a prophet would only escalate the war.
The city was assimilated by the Flood, drifting in the middle of a space battle between the seperatists and loyalists.

Charity Navigator - FAQ for Donors 1.0   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-09-10)
Charities submit it under oath to the IRS as the truth and also deliver it to their state attorney general as required by law.
Many charities have written policies which offer less protection of personal information, as it is ultimately left to the donor to contact the charity if they wish to "opt-out" of any mailing lists the charity might maintain or use for solicitation purposes.
Among the charities we've evaluated, the average CEO salary is roughly $140,000.

 Impressions: High Charity | Rampancy
Unlike Arbiter and Oracle, which were fairly well-lit until the very end, High Charity is dark-- darker even than the darker portions of Quarantine Zone, another area where I was tempted to change my monitor settings to gain an advantage.
Quarters are close, most of the rooms are quite dark, it's all indoors with no vehicles and rooms rarely have more than one possible path to take-- usually just a choice between right down the middle or along one of the walls.
That, coupled with the addition of the Flood, the slightly dimmer light, the musical score, and the necessity of traversing different parts of the level by Banshee to reach the pulse generators, as well as the removal of much of the interior room-crawl, made it a different enough level that I enjoy playing them both.

During the events of Halo 2, however, Master Chief (who was alone teleported to that same Covenant homeworld by Gravemind) abandons this goal and decides to kill the High Prophets instead in which according to Dr. Halsey's profile on Covenant society would escalate the war.
During the course of the game, Flood took advantage of the chaos surrounding Master Chief's infilitration and the ensuing Covenant civil war between the Separatists' predecessors and Loyalist forces, using the situation to infest the city.

Almanac Almanac: High school charity ride caught up in Woodside bike flap (August 23, 2006)
Organizers, who hope to make the September 23 bike ride the centerpiece of its annual fundraising campaign for the public school, have found themselves squarely in the middle of escalating tensions between bicyclists, town officials and a contingent of Woodsiders who say the town is being overrun by hordes of two-wheelers.
However, she said that since her initial reaction to the ride, which was announced last month, the high school's representatives have done a good job of educating her about the purpose of the ride and its lack of affiliation with the town.
The charity bike rides that did not receive permits, the Ride to Defeat ALS and one benefiting the South Peninsula Hebrew Day School, would have exceeded the two-a-month limit on events.

Halo 2 RPG Unlimited -> High Charity
The High Prophets had called a special meeting, which meant for all ship masters, generals, and councilors to be there.
The marks were pearl white, and he knew the Elite was a High General, one of the few Covenant warriors that had survived over fifty battles and killed over twenty-thousand enemy soldiers.
But, today, I have asked for someone to stand with our high generals, because of the information he holds.” The Prophet was silent, and all eyes in the chamber began staring at Brandon.

Branding pays in the charity sector
Charities can significantly increase their income from voluntary donations by employing fundraising managers who are firmly committed to branding.
Fundraisers with greater brand commitment are more likely to promote their charity using national and local media and direct mail than low brand-orientated fundraisers, arguably demonstrating a broader skill base in the use and application of brand building techniques, Mrs Hankinson points out.
This probably reflects their greater understanding of the value and scope of charity brand status and their willingness to exploit its potential to benefit the charity’s mission and cause.

Santo Daime - The Rainforest's Doctrine - High cost charity   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-09-10)
The social assistance and charity work and the derived spiritual demand brought about by the Santo Daime introduction in the urban context originated new problems, new reflections and challenges.
With no doubt, in the current state of the now-a-day's crises, practice the charity and help this kind of people, as Jesus has made, continue constituting a high-cost charity.
Among generations of healthy and pacific daimists and thousands of cases of well-succeeded usuaries, which had cures and diverse documented benefits, part of the media decided to explore, in a sensationalistic way, some few cases in which the resulting facts couldn't have been attributed, in any aspect, to the Daime.

Charity Navigator - Guide To Donating Your Car   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-09-10)
The IRS does not require the car donation agencies to contribute a set amount of the auto's proceeds to the intended charities; that amount is negotiated between the charities and the handlers.
The charities are reluctant to criticize the middlemen, because they don't want to lose the dollars they do receive, but state attorney generals are beginning to investigate and even prosecute these for-profit middlemen, for holding themselves out as charities and misleading the public on the amount that is actually reaching charitable causes.
Remember, the charity you give the car to will probably not use your car to deliver meals to the needy, but will simply sell it as quickly as possible.

 Into Africa: A Low-Profile, High-Impact Charity
In a world used to other images, the practice of charity as one of the five pillars of Islam is frequently ignored, or even unknown, in the West.
In its first four years, over a third of a million families were helped directly with food and clothing, school building, care of orphans and debt-settlement at an initial cost to the foundation of nearly $4 million.
Committee members go to great lengths, however, to emphasize that is not a condition of charity, of “singing for your supper,” as was frequently the case with 19th century missionaries in Africa.
