 New York Lifeline
The West Side line of the New York Central Railroad Company does not carry passengers, and no high-speed expresses flash along the track; yet it is known as the "Lifeline of New York," because the city, to a considerable extent, depends upon this route for its food and milk.
The section of the line which is carried below the street level, as well as the elevated part, is expected to be covered and built over with warehouses and factories.
Here the line turns west and encircles the goods yard to have sufficient space to overcome the difference in levels between the viaduct and the tracks below street level which are to the north.

THE High Line is an abandoned 1.5-mile stretch of overgrown railroad viaduct that runs from the Meatpacking district to Hell's Kitchen — and straight into the imaginations of a growing number of New Yorkers who see it as proof that, even in an urban jungle, the forces of nature are still at work.
The High Line, once slated for demolition and now strictly off limits to the public, is on track to be fully opened by 2006, with some sections made accessible earlier as work on the viaduct goes along.
The High Line will be a transition between “the dog and the wolf,” he said — the dog being the built environment underneath and around the viaduct and the wolf being the wild growth on top.

He has compared the quantity of the number of lines a character had in an episode, verses the polled quality of that episode, and extrapolated results as to how the presence of these characters effected the quality of an episode.
The necessity for this is that there were several characters who actually had more lines than medal winning characters, but they were not being counted due to only appearing in one episode, which is unfair to both the character who should have won the medal, and to the character that did.
The Line League's first post (a count of the number of lines of 9 charcaters and the Potentials, during the first 8 episodes of season 7) took place at the CrossandStake, where it was well received.
