The highest unclimbed mountain in a particular region or in the world is often a matter of controversy.
The mountain most widely claimed to be the highest unclimbed mountain in the world in terms of elevation seems to be Gangkhar Puensum, 7570m (24,836 feet).
The highest point of the Kabru massif (7,412m (?), Prom=780m?), south of Kangchenjunga, is reported to be unclimbed, but the names, identities and status of all of the Kabru peaks is unclear.

I had a phase a couple of years ago of going off to climb my highest unclimbed mountain in Wales.
Having done it it was no longer my highest unclimbed mountain and I proceeded to do the next one.
The climb up the other side is very rocky and you suck the cheeks in a little in a couple of places.
