Highway 410 (Ontario) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Highway 410 is a 400-Series Highway in Ontario, Canada that connects Highway 401 and Highway 403 to Toronto's northern suburbs, specifically Brampton and Caledon.
Highway 410 was then added to the 401-403 junction as a partial interchange with Highway 401 (eastbound only) and the rest of Highway 410 was constructed as a two-lane freeway.
In the late eighties and early 1990s, Highway 410 was expanded to its current form concurrent with the construction of Highway 407.

Highway 410 is a relative newcomer to the 400-series highway network of Ontario.
The highway stretches from the Highway 401/403 interchange in northern Mississauga to Bovaird Drive in Brampton.
During the mid 1980s the northern (more urban) portion of Highway 410 was completely grade separated; Access to and from Highway 410 to these newly grade separated roads was maintained through quasi interchanges that somewhat resemble the connector roads seen today on Highway 7 through central York Region.

Highway 403 (Ontario) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Highway 403 is also notable because it was discontinuous for much of its history, at one point having two and three separate sections.
In the 1990s, concurrent with the widening of Highway 410 to a full freeway, the high-speed flyover ramps from and to the 401 EB were constructed.
After this decision, the province planned to renumber the Mississauga section as an extension of Highway 410, as that would have eliminated confusion with the Highway 403 segment in Woodstock/Hamilton, but that idea was later abandoned to avoid confusion for people accustomed to the "403" designation which has been use since 1982.
