Hiram Leong Fong (鄺友良 born October 15, 1906) was a Republican U.S. Senator from Hawaii from 1959 to 1977.
Fong was first elected to the Senate in 1959, along with Democrat Oren E. Long, after Hawaii was admitted as the 50th state.
Since his retirement, Fong and his wife have managed a 725 acre (2.9 km²) garden that was opened to the public in 1988.
