Hiram Lodge No. 6 Free and Accepted Masons of the Grand Lodge of New Brunswick, was constituted in 1879 by the union of Solomon*s Lodge No. 6, Original Warrant dated 1792 and St. Andrew*s Lodge No. 29, Original Warrant dated 1852.
A History of Hiram Lodge was compiled by Bro Willard J McNutt and a committee, which was edited and published in 1995 chronicling the history of the lodge from 1897 to 1995.
Hiram Lodge has had from the start a reputation for hospitality and social life, from early boat and train excursions, dances in Masonic Regalia, picnics, barbecues, dinners and at times even dances.

Permission was given, and in 1800, the five lodges in the Bluegrass assembled in the "Masons Hall" in Lexington, and on the sixteenth day of October the Grand Lodge of Kentucky was formed.
The formation of the Kentucky Grand Lodge in Lexington cemented the bonds that ever bound the cities of the Bluegrass together, for these men were the foremost leaders of their day in everything that pertained to the welfare of their respective communities.
With four Masonic bodies and the Grand Lodge of Kentucky meeting in Lexington, the stronghold of Freemasonry in the western country, it was decided in 1824 to erect a "commodious edifice" suitable for the needs of the Craft.

On October 1, 1768, the Provincial Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania granted a warrant, or charter, to a number of Masons living in or near Winchester to form a Lodge, to be known as Winchester Lodge No. 12.
The Charter from the Provincial Grand Lodge was exchanged for one from the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania.
Physically, the Lodge is in good shape, and, what is more important, there is an interest in and enthusiasm for the Lodge, especially among the young members, which augers well for the future.

Message:: Looking for genealogy info, my great grandfather came to USA in late 1800's from Germany with his entire lodge; both grandparents were very active in Chicago area Eastern Star, but religous zealot in the family destroyed all records.
He has come up with references of lodges in Bulgaria and Romania which were chartered under the Grande Oriente Lusitano, some mantained the affiliation until the early years of the 20th century.
There was a lodge in Buenos Aires that was founded in 1812 and it was called the Laurete Lodge...if I am not mistaken in the spelling.
