Region 7 is a member of the Virginia Bass Federation, together we strive to preserve and promote the sport of bass fishing.
Region activities include the introduction of sport fishing to young people and the conservation of water and other natural resources.
The Region has approximately 300 members and includes clubs from the counties of Accomack, Isle of Wight, Northampton and Southampton, and the cities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Virginia Beach.

The concluding chapter, "Whither CPE and the Eastern Region?" cites cutting edge issues in which the Eastern Region has been working and may be expected to continue to build bridges.

This monument is the result of a promise made to the remaining Region1C Sit Down Strikers by Director Bob Roth.
It sits on land next to the Flint Region 1C office and replaces a previous monument installed in 1987 in downtown Flint.
