 | | Highlights of the exhibition include a magnificent Michaux velocipede tricycle with a carved griffon's head (1868), a Phantom velocipede (1869), the first bicycle to have a rubber tire, an Ariel (1872), the first manufactured high-wheeler, and a BSA safety (1884), one of the earliest manufactured chain-drive bicycles. |
