 Trailer hitch (US4811967)
A hitch for connecting a trailer to a tow vehicle includes a hitch bar which projects from the tow vehicle and a hitch box which receives the end of the hitch bar and is coupled to one trailer through a hitch ball and a socket-type coupler.
The hitches for the larger and heavier trailers usually consist of two separable components - a hitch receiver which is welded or otherwise firmly secured to the frame of the tow vehicle and a hitch bar which fits into and is connected with the hitch receiver.
The two-piece arrangement enables the user to remove at least part of the hitch from the tow vehicle when the trailer is not required, and this of course reduces the protrusion of the hitch beyond the end of the tow vehicle.

 It's a Date (washingtonpost.com)
But in the flawed but likable "Hitch," about a 9-to-5 schlub who hires a "date doctor" to help him seduce an heiress (played by wispy supermodel Amber Valletta), James takes the bittersweet ballet of the obese to a painfully hilarious new realm.
Plus, "Hitch" is built on such ridiculous coincidences, it's as if New York has a population of about 14 and these folks just keep getting in each other's way.
The movie's sparkling centerpiece is an alternating montage of Hitch training Albert for his first date with Valletta's little rich girl and then the big man and his lady love out on their first date, which is not the expected disaster but is funny nonetheless.

Hitch has a moral measure -- his clients must honestly love and worship their targets, and they must earnestly want to make these vaunted objects happy.
Still, Hitch believes his work should be secret, and on top of that he has his own painful romantic history, all of which means that, for all his teaching prowess, he has no love life of his own.
Hitch goes through the basics with Albert -- he needs to stand out before Allegra, he needs to show her how he's different from other caddish men who are only after her money, he needs to not trip over his own feet while do his flumpy white-man's dance.

The Davis hitch can be built from all new materials for as little as $40, will lift as heavy an implement as the tractor's hydraulics can handle, is more compact than other after-market hitches, looks good, requires no modification of the tractor and does not block access to the rear hydraulic hose connections.
The Hoxie hitch uses a standard toplink, but that toplink requires longer lift arms, which puts the load farther behind the axle.

For a more complete description of towing hitches, ratings, and accessories, we refer you to the leading two manufacturers of hitches in the country: Draw-Tite and Reese.
These hitches have a much higher GTW and TW rating than WC systems and are less prone to sway problems.
Here the 12,500 is the GTW capacity and the 1,250 is the TW capacity when used with a WD hitch assembly, the 5,000 and 500 are respectively the same ratings when used as a WC hitch (i.e., with a simple draw-bar and tow ball).

Reviews: Hitch - Christianity Today Movies
According to a statistic cited in the new romantic comedy Hitch, 60% of a man's impression on a woman is determined by body language and 30% by tone of voice, which is to say that 90% of a man's ability to attract a woman has nothing to do with words.
Hitch also jumps through the requisite romantic comedy hoops, none more flagrant than a variation on the old mistaken identity development that necessitates a fight between the two leads.
Andrew Coffin (World) says, "Hitch arrives in theaters with all of the liabilities of a typical romantic comedy fully intact: a barely believable, too-clever premise; a predictable story arch (meet/spar/fall in love/fall out of love/fall back in love/live happily ever after); and a calculated lack of depth.

Hitch is your man. He understands women: how to get their attention, how to seem heroic in their eyes, what to tell them and what definitely not to tell them.
Some of his strategies would be right at home in a silent comedy, such as an opening Meet Cute in which a babe's beloved pet dog is apparently saved from instant death by a guy who wants to get to know her.
There is a purpose for a movie like "Hitch," and that purpose is to supply a pleasant and undemanding romantic comedy that you can rent next Valentine's Day.

Will Smith is cast in the role of Alex "Hitch" Hitchens, a young, suave, successful, sophisticated, smooth talker who has devised a career out of his ability to show even the most clumsy and shy, geeky guy how to get hitched to the woman of his dreams.
During this battle Hitch himself is fighting a battle of falling in love with local newspaper columnist, but making all the wrong moves in landing this perfect girl.
