HOAs are nonprofit associations of homeowners formed to maintain a development's common areas and protect property values.
Association managers have to be well-versed in a wide variety of skills, from hiring plumbers and electricians, to meeting with asphalt contractors, accountants, attorneys and sometimes angry residents.
And it's in the heart of HOA country: 60 percent of the state's HOAs are based in the region.

Are HOAs Anti-Freedom?   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-04)
HOAs are private agencies that administer new housing developments, requiring a monthly fee to maintain common areas and regulating everything from grass height to house colors to where you can park your car — and their rules are enforceable by contract law.
HOAs are a private, not a governmental institution.
Another attack on HOAs is that those who avail themselves of HOA benefits are exchanging freedom — the freedom to paint their house pink, if they wish — for protection and invoke Ben Franklin’s warning that those willing to sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither.

HOA board members have been caught fixing their own elections, finagling kickbacks for themselves from contractors, and using their newfound authority to settle scores against neighbors.
Although HOAs were initially envisioned as utopian enclaves, complete with grassy expanses and New England-style town halls, as they've grown bigger and more pervasive, and as homeowners have become increasingly wedded to their property rights, stories of abuse have come to the fore.

Abstract This draft proposes a simple method that multiple HoAs obtained by each of heterogeneous interfaces should be registered to home agents as like CoAs to support benefits of multihoming, such as ubiquitous accessibility, redundancy, and inter interface handover.
As a result, a HoA is binding to different HoAs that allocated from other serving home networks to relevant interfaces For example, a mobile node has three heterogeneous interfaces, and three HoAs that allocated by each of its interfaces; HoA1, HoA2, and HoA3.
After HoAs were registered, when the mobile node moves to foreign network as represent 5:: for IPv6 prefix, it should obtain CoA (5::16EUI) through interface 2 (802.16) attached to foreign network directly.
