	Hog Molly - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Hog Molly was a Seattle-based heavy rock band, formed by Tad Doyle in 2001 after the breakup of his previous band TAD.
		However, unlike Doyle's previous band which dealt almost exclusively in recycled 70s heavy metal riffs, Hog Molly's sound was closer to Motörhead than Black Sabbath.
		Doyle went on to form a group named Hoof, who have yet to release anything at the time of writing (April 2005), and the other members of Hog Molly have seemingly dropped off the radar, presumably working with local Seattle bands again.

		Hog Molly is Tad Doyle's (from the band TAD) new project, and their debut CD Kung-Fu Cocktail Grip is the first release on Billy Gould's (Faith No More bassist) cool new label, Kool Arrow.
		For those unfamiliar with Tad Doyle, he was one of the forefathers of Seattle grunge (long before the term "grunge" was thought up) and, although his band TAD never broke bigtime, he likely influenced a slew of the multi-platinum Seattle bands that followed suit.
		In all honesty, I felt TAD's music was mediocre at best (with the exception of a couple powerhouse tunes like "Greasebox"), but Hog Molly's music is a vast improvement showing much more diversity and innovation.

	FRIENDS OF ALTA MAY
		The original lineup of Alta May formed in December 1998 after Marcus Piña (Anodyne/PLG) joined Denver transplants Garrett Shavlik (The Fluid/Spell) and Erik Roper (Cold Crank).
