Holborn Viaduct station was a railway station in central London, opened in 1874 to serve as an additional terminus for the London, Chatham and Dover Railway and closed in 1990.
The latter was for a time called Holborn Viaduct Low Level.
It was one of a number of stations that were open at various times on the short line between Blackfriars Bridge and Farringdon Station, the others being St Paul's, Ludgate Hill, and Snow Hill.

I'm not sure whether there were corresponding up services from Kent to Holborn Viaduct, though it was quite common to see a CEP stabled just south of the river on the east side of the formation just north of the spur from London Bridge.
By the end of the pre-Thameslink era (early 80s, when my regular commute was Tooting to Blackfriars) the Sutton to Holborn Viaduct via Wimbledon and Streatham services ran during the peaks.
AIUI the normal route for many years was Holborn Viaduct - > Wimbledon - Sutton - West Croydon - Crystal Palace - Balham - Victoria.
