Holden had served as the company's Chief Financial Officer, Controller and Treasurer from August 1996 to July 1998 and its President and Treasurer from July 1998 to January 2000.
Holden, a former resident of Deerfield, Illinois who now resides in Ohio, agreed to pay a civil penalty of $90,000.00 and also to pay disgorgement plus interest totaling $68,376, which reflect bonuses that he received during the period in which the Commission claims that Sabratek was cooking its books.
Holden also agreed to the entry of a permanent injunction barring him from future violations of anti-fraud, record-keeping, and reporting provisions of the federal securities laws, contained in from violations of Sections 10(b), 13(a), 13(b)(2)(A), 13(b)(2)(B) and 13(b)(5) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rules 10b-5, 12b-20, 13a-1, 13a-13, 13b2-1, and 13b-2-2 thereunder.

Scott was finishing off "Alien", so wasn't sure about doing more Science Fiction, (he has stated in interview that the genre isn't important as long as he can make something interesting of the story.) Evidently he saw a good story and in 1980 signed up to make the film.
Scott and Fancher spent a lot of time working on the script and although their work was inspired, they also had some fundamental disagreements.
Scott liked it, and he and Fancher also felt the title would make a great new title for the screenplay, and so they eventually bought the rights for the use of the name Blade Runner from both Nourse's and Burroughs' representatives.

Ridley Scott carried a photo of Edward Hopper's famous painting "Nighthawks" with him during shooting to show it to the crew members, to give them a feeling what kind of mood he wanted to create in the film.

Add to all of this Imogene, daughter of the privileged class who marries the largest rumrunner, systematically destroys all she was brought up to be a part of, and does it with either the greatest calculation, or the most grievous unintended consequence.
Holden skewers many of the "types" found in British society, although her satire is too often heavy-handed.
scott is totally incapable of writing a noun without at least one adjective attached to it, and in most cases there are two or three just in case.

If there is a hoax here, I would assume that Holden Scott engineered it with help from Dr. Gozani, but I have no proof of any such activity.
