	Hole (band) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Hole was an indie rock band formed in 1989 and (officially) disbanded in 2002, fronted by Courtney Love and co-founded by Eric Erlandson, and featuring Patty Schemel on drums (until 1998.
		After Schemel quit, Samantha Maloney was the drummer for Hole) and Melissa Auf der Maur on bass from 1995 until the band's disbandment in 2002; previous bassist Kristen Pfaff died from an apparent drug overdose in 1994.
		Hole entered the studio to record their major label debut in 1993, around the time that Nirvana released their third and final album In Utero.

		I don't remember what set me off on this venture at this time but when I was a kid we would dig lots of holes and tunnels and cover them with scrap wood and dirt and use them as hide outs and camps.
		At some point I found some old 4x4s and other scrap lumber and would span them over the hole to guage how deep I was from the top of the berm to the bottom of the hole.
