		Sith holocrons usually took the form of a pyramid, and the existence of the first Sith holocron predates that of a Jedi holocron by at least three thousand years.
		The holocron was able to capture the appearance and cognitive networks of the holocron's owner, and transform this into a three-dimensional hologram.

		At the fall of the old republic master yoda entrusted the ancient holocron to jedi master Rannd Anthroe to hide in the new jedi temple on Lok so the vast knowledge and power would not fall into the emperors hands.
		After the holocron was given, master metathran (no longer influenced by the darkside) managed to escape and warn master anthroe.
