		Home Alone is a classic 1990 holiday film starring Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, an eight-year-old who is mistakenly left behind when his family flies to France for a Christmas vacation.
		Home Alone 3 had an entirely different plotline and cast, whereas Home Alone 4 was a continuation from the first two movies, but with completely different actors.
		The McAllisters' house is in Winnetka, Illinois on Lincoln Avenue.

		Home Alone 4, however, is a prime example of how completely they fail in the absence of thought and sound character development.

		Also, despite the title, there isn’t a moment in the film when Kevin is actually in the home alone, always accompanied by a maid and butler who simply stop paying attention whenever the plot requires it.
		The Home Alone series has been a very lucrative franchise so it’s obvious why another instalment was made all these years after the last, but the lazy manner this film has been made in makes it clear that this was merely a money grabbing idea, and not a whole hearted attempt to reinvigorate the franchise.
