David Bruce Cassidy (born April 12, 1950) is an American actor and musician, best known for starring in the television series The Partridge Family from 1970 to 1974.
Cassidy was born in Englewood, New Jersey, the son of Irish American actor Jack Cassidy and actress Evelyn Ward.
Cassidy's first wife was actress Kay Lenz, whom he married in 1977 and divorced in 1982.

David and I share a few things like for instance, both he and I were a young age when our parents divorced, he wore glasses like I still do, we were both born under the sign of Aries, and he is still just as gorgeous as he was.
Well, here in Belgium, not all David's albums where released, so maid my choice between the albums that I could get here, and well, I still think that the album "Cherish" is the best, although, last year I discoverd "Then and Now", bought it and like it also very mutch.
Someone else said David Cassidy is like fine wine, & after listening to his newer CD and seeing him live there could be no better way to express just how great he is. Thankyou for all the music and memories.

This semi-autobiographical release done blatantly tongue-in-cheek by Cassidy is probably a standout as far as his career which has successfully outlasted all the negative press by his detractors.
One could wonder if that is why Cassidy allows his stuff to be released overseas where his fan's did not turn his back on him as opposed to here in the States where his library remains harder to obtain.
The 4 albums he released on bell were good no doubt but the 3 rca albums are better there is a growth in the song writing and in davids voice it doesent sound as young as previous albums.

Where the first set takes off (as it often did) is with the extended romp through “Playing In the Band,” which opens Disc Two.
It's one of those shows where you can hear that the band is having a great time onstage, and their joy and playfulness is infectious.
Excellent versions of "Cassidy," "Deal" and "Cold Rain and Snow" appear in the first set, though that set is marred for me by an annoying reverb slap on one of the snare drums that gives a number of songs a leaden quality, and over-loud keyboard lines by newcomer Vince (not his fault; it's the mix).

They usually do a little segment on the Zappa years, but most of the show is Turtles material (which is nice, but after a while, it takes on an oldies show feel).

We are very used to hearing bassist David Murphy saying things like, "We're going to take a short little break and be right back." We hear lots of people theorizing over the ideas of the 13 Moon calendar and the Maya, but we never really have heard it from the band's mouth.
Band members were constantly interchanging, musicians would make special efforts to get over and catch their favorite sets, and young musical minds had the opportunities to watch and even play music with their mentors.

This is a superb score and the album features over one hour of thrilling horror music of the highest quality — and, to getting back to my introduction, much more exciting and original than the majority of music written for big theatrical features these days.
Another choral highlight is ’Mutans Evae Nomen and The Mansion Burns’ where one of the main themes in the score is given an epic treatment for the full forces of the orchestral and vocal ensembles.
Everything about the movie, from David Watkin's soft-toned photography to John Barry's lush score (which swoons with the best of his work), has what might be called a refined voluptuousness.
