Introduced 14 years ago, the NSX is one of the few Hondas that doesn't adhere to the company's practice of redesigning its cars every four to five years — it's still basically the same car it was back in 1991.
Though few details were given at the Tokyo show, the HSC seems to be a glimpse of a long-overdue successor to the NSX.
Honda says the HSC "delivers output in excess of 300 horsepower," which is a must for a supercar in this day and age.

Sure, Honda has given the two-seater some minor bodywork here and there in an attempt to save the aging design, but for all intents and purposes not much has changed.

It will use a 3.5 -3.8 V8 engine that supposedly honda is producing for the top notch acura TL and a peppiest version for the HSC.
It is expected that the HSC will weigh 3050-3100 lbs, because its has shortened some inches.

However, I do wonder though since honda wants suggestions on the car (on the genearl board) which if they do integrate some of the suggestions, it would probably take over a year to do.
He said that the Dealer private website was showing the HSC as the next NSX, but was not giving any details on engine, HP, etc. He has already taken an order for the new model.
Some dealers I know get their info from vtec.com cause honda doesnt give them any info until the car is about to launch.
