The Honda S600 is an automobile manufactured by Honda.
It was the first Honda car to be offered in two versions, as convertible, bearing strong resemblance to the Honda S500, and as a fastback coupe introduced in March of 1965.
Honda built 3,912 roadsters in 1964, with production climbing to 7,261 convertibles and 1,519 coupes in 1965.

The car was created to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary, and continues in the tradition of lightweight roadster "S" cars such as the S600 and S800.
Designated the F22C1, the stroke of the motor was lengthened, increasing the displacement to 2.2 L. As a result, the redline was reduced to 8,000 rpm (mandated by the longer travel distance of the pistons).
T Peak torque was increased by 6%, and the F22C1 was quoted by Honda as having more torque at lower rpm than the F20C, although officially the power output remains the same between the two engines.

It's estimated that there are roughly 300-400 of these cars in North America most of them in Canada, half of those that run (of that half that run half of those have their original engine).
You would have to completely butcher the tranny tunnel from where it starts at the engine bay, all the way back to the front of the trunk area, because that's were the shifter would be relocated to, the trunk.
The S600 is chain driven, the chains are in chain cases, the chain cases are attached to a rear differential, and that differential is not parallel with the rear tires, it forward about 1 and 1/2 feet to accommodate the chain cases.
