Hong Kong’s Federation of Trade Unions says it will take the government to court and seek a judicial review over its failure to protect low-paid workers with a minimum wage.
Unions want a minimum wage of more than 3 US dollars for all workers in the city of 6.8 million and say the voluntary code will do nothing to protect workers.
