		The standard total cost for using the services of a trademark attorney to handle the filing of an application in one class is HK $4,300 (the professional component of this fee is recommended by the Hong Kong Law Society).

		However, note that these are law technicalities, and whether you REALLY will be sued or not is another matter, but in theory, by doing all these photographs referencing and music uploading we are all breaking the law.

		Hong Kong based Lik-Sang, a mail order company which distributes videogame software and hardware worldwide, has lost a crucial court case brought by Nintendo over the sale of devices which could copy Game Boy software.
		The ruling in the High Court of Hong Kong sees Lik-Sang ordered to cease distribution of the devices (Flash Cards and Flash Linkers), as well as paying Nintendo's legal expenses and preliminary damages of HK$5 million (550,000), with final damages still be be decided.
		The court's ruling is a noteworthy one because in general, the law has previously targetted the pirates themselves rather than those who provide equipment which can be used for pirate purposes.

		A Hong Kong computer retailer who sold unlicensed copies of Office and Windows programs has been ordered to pay Microsoft $4.5 million in damages, according to the Associated Press.
		The Hong Kong High Court ruled that the retailer had acted illegally to cut costs and offer lower prices, and that those practices constituted copyright infringement.
		The Associated Press reports that Microsoft characterised the decision as “a significant milestone in the protection of intellectual property rights in Hong Kong.”
