And the straight speed metal attack of “Valour” is a pleasant surprise indeed, especially when contrasted against “Honour” which is pure, old school Bolt Thrower opening with a dirge-like rumble before taking off like a runaway steamroller. BOLT THROWER sind nämlich wieder eine Ecke "stumpfer" geworden, sprich: Die Abwechslung wird wieder etwas kleiner als auf dem superben Vorgänger geschrieben, was es mir fast unmöglich macht, "Honour - Valour - Pride" am Stück durchzuhören. The Welkin: Online Music Reviews "Honour Valour Pride" is chock full of evenly well-written, slower-tempo, songs featuring grinding guitar riffs, machine-like drumming and deep, raspy vocals. The latter work less well in my opinion, due to their lack of distinguishing texture so that they just sort of fade into the background, but are more than made up for by the sheer "cool" factor of the mechanoid blasting beats and the band's melodic excursions.
