	Zomerpop (Hoogwoud) 2001 informatie op Festivalinfo
		Zomerpop is het jaarlijks terugkerend popfestival wat georganiseerd wordt op recreatieterrein de Weyver in Hoogwoud / Opmeer (NH).
		Het festival werd voor de eerste maal gehouden in 1990 en dit jaar zal het voor de 12e keer worden georganiseerd en wel op zondag 9 september 2001.
		Het zeer gevarieerde programma van de 12e editie zal ook dit jaar bestaan uit twee podia in twee tenten; de een met alternatieve pop- en rockmuziek de andere met dancemuziek.

		Terwijl dit voor het winkelend publiek, (denk aan het Makadocentrum in Schagen) maar ook het uitgaand publiek, misschien best wel gewenst is. (kan zijn) Wat ook direct opviel dat een directe verbinding helemaal niet moeilijk is om te realiseren, omdat beide 'busgebieden' elkaar bijna aangrenzen.
		Dit is namelijk het geval bij Nieuwe Niedorp en Hoogwoud, deze plaatsen die ongeveer 8 km uit elkaar liggen, hebben beide een bus verbinding met het 'achterland'.
		Zo kan een goede verbinding ontstaan tussen beide gebieden en hoeven de mensen die vanuit Opmeer/Hoogwoud naar Schagen willen en vice versa geen grote omwegen te maken om op de plaats van bestemming te komen.

		In a battle near Hoogwoud on January 28, 1256, his horse fell through the ice, and William was killed.
		His body was recovered 26 years later by his son Floris V, who was only 2 years old when he succeeded his father.
