		Hope (49° 22′ 53″ N, 121° 26′ 20″ W) is a community in the province of British Columbia, in Canada, of approximately about 7,000 people located at the confluence of the Fraser River and the Coquihalla River.
		Located 154 kilometers East of Vancouver, Hope is a vibrant community known for its industrious people and picturesque mountain location.
		At Hope, the river enters a broad flood path extending 130 km to the coast and Vancouver.
