		Hope Bay (Spanish: Bahía Esperanza) (63°23′ S 057°00′ W) is 5 km (3 mi) long and 3 km (2 mi) wide, indenting the tip of Antarctic Peninsula and opening on Antarctic Sound.
		The British established a base at Hope Bay in 1945 as part of Operation Tabarin.
		The Argentine base Esperanza is also located at Hope Bay, and it's named after it.
