BBC - Bristol - City Views - YOUR views of Bristol
I grew up in Horfield and loved - I was right next to the Rugby Club - which was great (I even helped out selling cornish pasties on match days!) it all went a bit downhill after the Rovers made their home there though.
Horfield may lack lustre when compared to a modern city or somewhere full of history like Bath, but when you grow up in it - every corner carries a memory.
I plan to take images of Horfield Common/Kellaway Avenue, Muller Road, Filton Avenue, Gloucester Road etc, also of new houses where the old BT computer centre used to be, and the sports centre opposite.

Horfield’s Phased Project Demonstrates Versatility of Modular School Building
The flexibility of Rollalong’s modular school buildings has been clearly demonstrated at Horfield CEVC School.
In 1999, Bristol City Council wanted the flexibility of initially procuring a single storey only school building, which could be converted to two storey accommodation at a later date when additional budget was available.
The school’s satisfaction and the authority’s confidence in Rollalong’s ability to deliver ensured the go-ahead was given for phase two, which was also a complete success.
