| | Hornby Model Railways, OO scale, N scale, live steam, harry potter, Margate, Rovex, Triang (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-21) |
 | | The name “Hornby” has been associated with model railways for many decades, from O gauge tinplate in the 1940’s through the three-rail Hornby Dublo range in the 50’s, its incarnation as “Triang Hornby” in the 60,s, the firm has always been the UK’s first choice when it came to OO gauge model railways. |
 | | Hornby have produced three variants, GW green with a 3000 gallon tender and the “shirt button” roundel, BR unlined fl with a 3500 gallon tender and the early “cycling lion” totem and a BR green example with a 4000 gallon tender and late totem. |
 | | Hornby’s example is unrecognisable compared to their old effort (now, thankfully, consigned to the “Thomas” range!) and is fitted with opening cab doors, a sliding roof vent, a full cab interior and masses of neat detail such as sand-pipes, air pipes and lamp brackets. |
