Reza Zadeh, who was cheered by his flag-waving supporters during each of his lifts, showed his class, with three good efforts in the snatch section.
Reza Zadeh thus left his world records of 213 kgs (snatch) achieved in Qinhuangdao (September 2003), the 263 kgs clean and jerk world record (Athens Olympics 2004) and the overall world record of 472 kgs (Sydney Olympics 2000) unblemished.

Olympic champion Hossein Reza Zadeh of Iran dominated the men's over 105kg category but failed to rewrite his own world record at the world weightlifting championships in Doha on Thursday.
The 27-year-old Reza Zadeh, who holds the world record in the snatch, clean-and-jerk and overall categories, claimed the gold medal by hoisting 251kg in his first attempt in the jerk with a total result of 461kg, 11kg less than his world record of 472kg made in the Sydney Olympics.
Nobody could challenge Reza Zadeh for the gold medal in the jerk and the total, as he went for the world record in total on his second attempt.
