The album begins with THE DILLY SONG, which starts with kind of a groovy sitar melody but is soon discordantly mixed with a woman's singing of this traditional song. Celtic Music Reviews: 2005/02 Other highlights on this album are "Let Me Be" (a song about a woman who wants to remain independent, but then finally meets someone she wants, only to have him overlook her) and the title track (a lamenting song about leaving before you can't leave of your own free will). This is one of my favourite songs on the album. Hourglass by America CD at CD Universe Upon hearing it for the first time, I cried, "Young Moon" is one great song, Dewey's poetic way with the lyrics and the way he sings this song, captures you right from the start. This 1994 release by the duo of Dewey Bunnell and Gerry Buckley may sound at first like a "why bother?" but surprisingly, HOURGLASS is not only not embarrassing, it's actually quite good.
