		House of Games is David Mamet's 1987 motion picture directorial debut.
		Mike agrees to forgive the debt if Margaret accompanies him to a high-stakes poker game as his girlfriend, using her to help identify the tells of his poker rivals.
		But, her interest is piqued by the enigmatic Mike and his world, and a subsequent dalliance with the man takes on dangerous, life-threatening dimensions.

		Four strangers are invited to a house, a very big house, in the country, to compete for "the ultimate prize" - a paid month off work.
		You'll notice that, apart from the first game, this bears an uncanny resemblance (in spirit at least) to the short-lived Tim Vine vehicle Fluke.
		We're not sure all the elements quite hang together (the whole thing seems to be attempting to send up the trend toward "dark" television but it doesn't quite work) and we're not sure there's a series in it, but this was an enjoyable one-off.

		Each show features four different games from a selection of about ten, meaning that there isn't too much repetition between the episodes.
