House of Love (album) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
House of Love was a top-selling 1994 (see 1994 in music) album by pop star Amy Grant.
House of Love was Amy's follow-up to her quintuple-platinum 1991 release Heart in Motion.
Although House of Love sold less than half of what its predecessor sold, it is a nice, mellow album that comfortably combines pop music with Christian values.

Lisa Rosenmeier - House of Love
House of Love is a series of investigations of themes that are all linked to the great utopia of Western Culture in the past few centuries: the notion of romantic love.
The art-historical premise of House of Love is that the traditional frame of "painting" has been significantly expanded and transgressed in the course of the 20th century.
Because House of Love is to unfold in the interpretative space between its various fragments (these being dispersed in time and space in both a literal and metaphorical sense) the actual realization of the project is of key importance.

House Of Love - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"House Of Love" was British boyband East 17's first single, released in late August 1992.
Initially conceived by former Pet Shop Boys manager Tom Watkins as a tougher version of Take That, East 17 decided that their first single, like Take That's debut, should be an upbeat dance number that would sell to both teenagers and to clubs.
Inspired by current dance groups like the KLF and Snap, Mortimer wrote House Of Love as a mock 'rave' anthem, complete with a 'harmony' rap performed by Brian Harvey.

The House of Love : Spy in the House of Love - Listen, Review and Buy at ARTISTdirect
A Spy in the House of Love compiles a decent but scrapped single circa '88 ("Safe"), a handful of dolled-up tracks from the scrapped follow-up to their debut, and scraps from various ditched sessions.
Certainly one of the least/last links in the House of Love chain, your time and money might be better spent hunting down one of their many wallet-sinking singles (like the one with a cover of the Chills' "Pink Frost" or another with a take on Cream's "Strange Brew").
A second volume of Spy is definitely called for, as the average House of Love fan's wallet sank deeper than Guy Chadwick's cheeks while scurrying for their three-part(!) singles.

Originally a quintet with three guitarists, House of Love caught England's attention with its third single, the insidious Jesus & Mary Chain-meets-the-Left Banke three-chord pop of "Christine," later the leadoff track of the quartet's (typically) untitled debut album (the cover pictures two band members).
After The House of Love became a sizable UK hit, the band signed to PolyGram and spent the better part of two years making a follow-up.
A fourteen-track patchwork of three unreleased leftovers from the abandoned second album and outtakes that were subsequently used as B-sides, it's not hard to understand why these efforts were deemed inadequate or relegated to supporting roles.

Led by singer/songwriter Guy Chadwick, who with his floppy fringe, high cheekbones and intense, borderline-psychotic stare cut the quintessential broody indie romantic figure, the House of Love slow-burned themselves onto the collective pop consciousness in the late-80s before an unhappy switch to Phonogram became their undoing.
