JACKSON, Howell Edmunds, jurist, born in Paris, Tennessee, 8 April, 1832.
In 1840 he removed with his parents to Jackson, Tennessee, was graduated at the West Tennessee college in 1848, and then passed two years in the University of Virginia.
He returned to Jackson in 1876, and was elected a representative in the legislature in 1880.
