The median income for a household in the township was $63,114, and the median income for a family was $67,034.

When firefighters from the Howell Area Fire Department were called to a structure fire on Barron Road in Howell Township, Michigan they were unable to find any people home.
Assisting the Howell Area Fire Department at the scene were the Brighton Area Fire Department, Fowlerville Fire Department and Livingston County EMS.
According to Deputy Chief Andy Pless of the Howell Area Fire Department, the blaze started in the laundry room and the cause is still under investigation.
