		In the township the population was spread out with 28.0% under the age of 18, 6.2% from 18 to 24, 31.3% from 25 to 44, 24.2% from 45 to 64, and 10.2% who were 65 years of age or older.
		The median income for a household in the township was $63,114, and the median income for a family was $67,034.

		Assisting the Howell Area Fire Department at the scene were the Brighton Area Fire Department, Fowlerville Fire Department and Livingston County EMS.
		According to Deputy Chief Andy Pless of the Howell Area Fire Department, the blaze started in the laundry room and the cause is still under investigation.
