Marketing and Public Relations News Release Dr. Mazharul Haque, a 20-year veteran faculty member of The University of Southern Mississippi's School of Mass Communication and Journalism, recently presented lectures focusing on First Amendment issues during a visit to a Taiwan university. Haque gave two lectures at Huafan University in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, in May that focused on First Amendment rights in the United States, the interpretation of those rights and obscenity and indecency issues involving the American media.
