The Hualapai (also spelled Walapai) are a tribe of Native Americans who live in the mountains of Arizona.
Law enforcement is provided by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, although the Hualapai Tribe is in the process of hiring four tribal police officers.
The Hualapai reservation is approximately a million acres (4,000 square km) along 108 miles (174 km) of the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon.

There are a series of unpaved roads that begin 7 miles south of the entrance to the Grand Canyon at AZ 180 and end up 7 miles south of Hualapai Hilltop, but I strongly recommend against it unless you enjoy driving terrible dirt roads or exploring a new area.
