		Frankpledge jurisdiction over Hucclecote and Elmbridge was exercised by the court held at Churchdown by the lords of the barony of Churchdown.
		That court in which the Hucclecote and Elmbridge homages made their presentments separately, also acted as the court baron for Hucclecote manor, and court rolls, including one for a court of survey in 1426, survive for many years in the periods 1423-57, 1486-7, 1497-1549, and 1590-1600.
		The Hucclecote homage in 1516 elected a constable.

		Hucclecote is a village in Gloucestershire, England situated on the old Roman road connecting Gloucester with Barnwood, Brockworth and Cirencester.
		Hucclecote was originally a small village that began development prior to the outbreak of World War II in 1939.
		Development was halted during the war and the area was bombed by the Luftwaffe due to the aircraft factories and other industrial facilities in the area which were originally within the boundary of Brockworth.

		You might see mention of the Broncos 18th annual rugby tournament at their Rockhampton Lane ground when teams from Frampton Cotterell, Yatton, Monmouth, North Petherton, Hucclecote and Old Centrailians were invited to take on the Broncos in four age groups from U9s to U12s.
		The fair play award went to a very deserving Frampton Cotterell for the wonderful spirit in which they played and also for the support given by their parents.
