This process continues until all points are assigned to a hull or until a user-defined number of hulls are assigned.
^h^ull^(^#^)^ specifies the number of hulls to be generated for each group.
If you expect a large number of hulls, it may be best to allow ^conhull^ to assign the hulls without graphing and to use ^condraw^ to graph the hulls that interest you.

 PDRacer - Rules
The hull panel is 8' long, 18" high (suggested height, minimum required is 10" high), the station marks are 12" apart, from left to right (stern to bow) they are: 6", 2-5/8", 5/8", 0", 0", 1", 2-3/8", 4-3/8", the last point is 6" from the end, it is 6" up from the base line.
No two boats can have the same number at the same time, and the spirit of the hull number is to stay with a hull till the next major rebuild, so if you own 2 PDs, you should have a hull number for each one.
The hull number is also sort of a status symbol - the lower it is, the earlier in history that you have had the guts to cut plywood.

Hull number   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-22)
The HIN number of the Alberg 22 is composed of twelve characters.
Because hull 240 (HIN ZSG22-240-03-79) would have been built in May of the same year, it is conceivable that hull 231 may have been build in March 1979 and that the "2379" reflects the actual date: 2-3-79 or March 2, 1979.
This correlation might be of value in the identification of hull numbers or the year in which a given boat would have been built.

Hull classification symbol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A heavily modified or repurposed ship may receive a new symbol, and either retain the hull number or receive a new one.
Also, the system of symbols has changed a number of times since it was introduced in 1907, so ships' symbols sometimes change without anything being done to the physical ship.
If a ship's hull classification symbol has "T-" preceding it, that symbolizes that it is a ship of the Military Sealift Command, with a primarily civilian crew.

A HIN is not the same as a State registration number, which may be required to be displayed on the bow of your boat.
The HIN is a Federal requirement; your boat’s registration number is a State requirement similar to the license plate on your car.
On boats without transoms or on boats on which it would be impractical to the transom, the HIN must be affixed to the starboard outboard side of the hull, aft within one foot of the stern and within two inches of the top of hull side, gunwale, or hull/deck joint, whichever is lowest.

People didn't simply point to the Titanic's hull number after the ship sank and claim it was a bad omen, the legend says; shipyard workers allegedly recognized it as a portent of disaster while the Titanic was still under construction.
For this legend to be true, both of its elements must be true: that the Titanic's hull number was indeed 3909 04, and that this number caused consternation among her shipyard workers.
The first element fails the veracity test because the number 3909 04 was not assigned to the Titanic as a hull number or as any other type of number — her official Board of Trade designation was 131,428, and the yard number assigned to her by Harland & Wolff was 401.

The hull number system's roots extend back to the late 1880s, when ship type serial numbers were assigned to most of the new warships of the emerging "Steel Navy".
During the course of the next thirty years, these same numbers were combined with filing codes used by the Navy's clerks to create an informal version of the system that was put in place in 1920.
It is important to understand that hull number letter prefixes are not acronyms, and should not be carelessly treated as abbreviations of ship type classifications.
