  HUMBOLDT STATE UNIVERSITY PUBLIC INFRACTIONS REPORT
On April 19, 2001, officials from Humboldt State University and the institution's former track and field coach appeared before the Division II Committee on Infractions to address allegations of major violations in the institution's track and field program.
In conjunction with this penalty, the university's records regarding women's track and field will be reconfigured to reflect the vacation of the student-athlete's performances during the 1998-99 academic year, including the NCAA Division II championships in the indoor 55 meter dash and outdoor 100 meter dash as required by Bylaw 31.2.2.4.
As required by NCAA legislation for any institution involved in a major infractions case, Humboldt State shall be subject to the provisions of NCAA Bylaw 19.6.2.3, concerning repeat violators, for a five-year period beginning on June 19, 2001, the effective date of the penalties in this case.

The Humboldt University of Berlin (German Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin) is Berlin's oldest university, founded in 1810 as the University of Berlin (Universität zu Berlin) by the liberal Prussian educational reformer and linguist Wilhelm von Humboldt, whose university model has strongly influenced other European and Western universities.
It was from the University's library that some 20,000 books by "degenerates" and opponents of the regime were taken to be burned on May 10 of that year in the Opernplatz (now the Bebelplatz) for a demonstration protected by the SA that also featured a speech by Joseph Goebbels.
Today, the Humboldt University is a state university with a high number of students (37,145 in 2003, among them more than 4,662 foreign students) after the model of West German universities, and like its counterpart Free University of Berlin.

In 1996 the university finished a $1 million lighting upgrade which replaced almost 99% of the schools lighting and earned it a $100,000 rebate from local utility, PG&E. Purchases of more energy efficient machinery, such as boilers and air supply systems, has allowed for further reductions.
The university is looking into the purchase of energy through a "green" provider, which would account for a significant reduction in carbon emissions, as of summer 2000.

Nice thing though, Humboldt is not a party school, its just the cultural norm there.
