  Villain
Villains are the fictional characters, or perhaps fictionalized characters, in drama and melodrama who work to thwart the plans of the hero.
As such, villains are an almost inevitable plot device, and more than the heroes, the villains are the crucial elements upon which plots turn.
Still, the writer's task in creating a villain is not an easy or a trivial one; a convincing villain must be given a characterization that makes his motive[?] for doing wrong somewhat more convincing that Mephisto's gleeful but seemingly pointless mischief.

Though his band of Huns is fairly small at the time, Attila already has a reputation for being a fearless and intelligent fighter.
As is typical for Hollywood, Attila is not portrayed as the cruel, bloodthirsty villain that your high school history class taught you.
Some effort was made to show the Hun villages and forts, though these were more “set”-like because you never saw much of the countryside to give you a feel that you were actually there.

Else, she will be raped by the villain within the 1st 30 minutes, and commit suicide.
When the villain fires at the hero, he will always miss (unless the hero is required to die, as in rule 2).

Cave recreates an interesting villain in the indestructible Margal, a somewhat James Bondish heavy who has no legs and must be carried around by a 6'2", 300 pound female servant.
Margal has recently escaped a sure death in a fiery blaze; in fact, when the tale opens, he is thought to be dead by everyone in Port-au-Prince and is hiding out in the elite Turgeau district with Clarisse, his servant.
As with all super villains who seem indestructible, Margal has one weakness, which of course just happens to play into Ken's realm of heroic possibilities.

All of this running around eventually leads to convergence of the two revenge paths (Master Liu himself is trying to track down the Arch Villain and avenge the murder of his own wife).

Later that night, Attila, the "Scourge of Christianity" and leader of the Huns for twenty years, died in his sleep next to the new addition to his harem.
Very little can be said with any certainty because contemporary writers were either deluded or they were propagandists who consciously twisted the facts either to explain why their patrons had done so poorly against the Huns or to glorify their victories.
Both of these "northern" tales of Attila are loosely based on two events that most historians don't dispute: A Burgundian king, Gundahar (or Gunther or Gunnar), and his followers were defeated and killed by the Huns in 437, and Attila died in 453 after marrying the German girl.

Chinese Movie Review | Three...Extremes (2004) Fruit Chan, Takashi Miike, Park Chan-wook
Of the three, Chan-wook Park's "Cut" fares the worst, at least by comparison and simply on the basis that there doesn't seem to be that much to the story beyond the surface.
Granted, if one was intent on digging deeper, I suppose there's something to be said about the complex motivations of the pathetic villain played by Wong-hie Lim ("This is Law"), a man who has no interest at all in justifying his actions.
In the film's most humorous moments, Lim's character forces Lee's director to come up with one sin that proves he (the director) isn't the perfect, good man the villain thinks he is. Byung-hun Lee's strained face, as he tries mightily to come up with a fault, is worth a laugh.

The Deathless Devil / Tarkan Versus the Vikings
Basically each escapade involves an ongoing battle between the wonderfully named Dr. Satan (Mutlu), a heavily-mustached villain with designs on controlling mankind with the aid of clunky robots, and Copperhead (Tulgar), the latest in a line of noble superheros who's just discovered his true identify from his "normal" adopted dad.
When a Viking raid leaves many of his compatriots dead or kidnapped, Tarkan embarks on a quest for justice against the Vikings, who plan to sacrifice the Hun king's daughter to a giant rubber octopus that lives in the ocean beside their castle.
Proving that low budget doesn't mean boring, both films make the most of their limited costume and set resources to craft fast-paced, riotous experiences with some of the most deliciously hammy villains this side of Snidely Whiplash.
